Machine Embroidery Tips - How To Remove the Stabilizer

Avoid getting your whole machine embroidery project soaking wet by using a Watercolor Water Pen! In this month's tip, Tori and Kari will teach you a few great ways to remove wash away stabilizer from any project.

Using Kimberbell wash-away stabilizer is ideal for cutwork, freestanding lace, baskets, reverse applique and so much more! While it adds stability during embroidery, immersing your entire machine embroidery project in water to remove the stabilizer may not be ideal. By using a Watercolor pen you will be able to dissolve all unwanted stabilizer without immersing your embroidery project! This reduces the chances of the red thread colors bleeding into the fabric. It also means that you don't have to wait for your project to dry!
