Amy Smart has been sewing and quilting for 25+ years and shares her creative journey on her website, Diary of a Quilter. She particularly enjoys making quilts as well as designing quilt patterns and fabric collections for Riley Blake Designs.

  2. Favorite book of all time? Anne of Green Gables
  3. Favorite recent book? The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion
  4. Favorite fabric designer? Liberty of London
  5. Favorite ice cream flavor? Chocolate PB Fudge Moose Tracks
  6. Favorite comfort food? Hot Chocolate
  7. Favorite place you’ve visited? England
  8. Favorite candy? Anything Chocolate/Peanut Butter
  9. Favorite project you’ve ever made? My Union Jack Quilt Supersize Union Jack quilt pattern by Amy Smart with London print (1)
  10. Favorite sewing/crafting tool (besides sewing machine)? A good, sharp pair of scissors
  11. Favorite fabric store? This is a hard one because I love so many fabric stores, but for uniqueness' sake, I'll say Liberty of London :)
  12. Favorite thing to have by you when you stitch? A podcast
  13. Favorite breed of cat or dog (or other pet)? No pets (much to my children's disappointment)
  14. Favorite kind of machine embroidery project? Watching the machine do the quilting on my projects with different Kimberbell quilting designs! (I'm terrible at machine quilting on my own.)
  15. Favorite craft room organization tool? Project storage bins
  16. Favorite season to decorate for? Christmas
