MEET SHARON:
Sharon Holland is a brilliant designer from Art Gallery Fabrics! Her print, Cloak and Petal, is included in our August 2023 Perfectly Pieced box. It features beautiful maroon moths atop a layer of sketched florals. A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of interviewing Sharon on our Instagram page. - Favorite book of all time? A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
- Favorite recent book? I'm currently listening (while I sew) to the audio book "The Lincoln Highway" by Amor Towles
- Favorite fabric designer? Amy Butler
- Favorite ice cream flavor? Coffee!
- Favorite comfort food? Popcorn
- Favorite place you’ve visited? When I visit any of my family
- Favorite candy? I've never met a piece of candy I didn't like
- Favorite project you've ever made? Usually it's the last thing I've made - it's really hard to pick a favorite!
- Favorite sewing/crafting tool (besides sewing machine)? Seam Ripper
- Favorite breed of cat or dog? Westhighland Terrier
- Favorite craft room organization tool? I love the closet in my new house and how my husband built the fabric roll bins from IKEA bookcase and the linen closet-style upper shelving for basket storage.
- Favorite season to decorate for? I don't decorate for the season as much anymore so if I'm going to decorate, the Christmas season is the most fun!
- Favorite way to display your projects? I like to see quilt, or pillow, or sewing projects in use!
